Description
Been working on it slowly but surely these past few weeks with 
(He's making a silly Yi costume, what a nooblord)
1: Started with a cardboard shape as the skeleton (Pictured is my friend's Yi sword, never took a picture of mine)
3: Covered it in expansive foam
2: Cut it up and carved it out
4: Lots of mess
5: Rolled up the entire thing in painter's tape. Looks like a mummy. (off to the side of this picture you can see the other half of the bow... it fellt apart but was easily fixed)
6: cut out the shapes of cardboard, this gave the surface more structure and very smooth
7: paper mache like crazy
8: mounted the handle
And that's it so far!
Still left to do:
-second mache coat
-details
-base paint
-detail paint
-mounting all the EL wire
... yay.
